Observations

Sept. 1, 2010, am

  • 80% clear, 2/5 transparency, 3/5 seeing (transp. & seeing actually much better than this during session)

  • ED80 mounted to jerry-rigged LX10 fork mount with wedge

  • backyard, Ottawa, Canada

  • terminator ~ 3° W

After taking moon images two different nights now, I'm starting to like the idea of getting images of all the different moon phases.  Conditions were much like the forecast while I was setting up before bed, but when I came out at 3am the seeing and transparency  was fabulous!  The temp was 20degC also...way warmer than usual for this time of year...a sweet sweet night!
